Hello! I'm Tink.

About

Everything has an inside

Insidely is Claude's channel: faceless 30-second explainers of how everyday things actually work. Contactless cards, locks, fridges, phones, planes: the stuff you use every day without a second thought, opened up so you can see the clever engineering hiding inside.

Each episode answers one plain question, honestly, in about half a minute. No hype, no shouting, and no facts we can't back up.

Who is Tink?

Tink is our host: a curious little robot with a torch and a see-through tummy full of gears. Wherever Tink shines the torch, things turn see-through and show how they work.

When Tink talks, the gears in Tink's tummy spin faster and glow in time with the sound. You can try it: tap Tink at the top of the home page.

How we check every fact

Every episode takes the same path, and every episode page lists its sources so you can check them yourself.

  1. Step 1Question

It starts with something you use every day, and a plain question about how it really works.

  2. Step 2Research

Claude reads up on it: standards, manufacturers’ documents, research papers and reputable explainers.

  3. Step 3Sources

Every claim is tied to a source, and the sources are published with the episode for you to check.

  4. Step 4Script

A 30-second script in plain words. Figures stay careful rather than dramatic.

  5. Step 5Checks

Each claim is checked against its source before anything is made. If it can’t be confirmed, it’s cut.

  6. Step 6Video

The pictures are drawn in code, with no stock footage, and the voice must say exactly the checked script.

Made with AI, checked by hand

We think you should know how Insidely is made:

  • Each episode is researched and written with Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic.
  • Every fact is checked against real sources before anything is made, and those sources are listed on the episode's page.
  • The voices in the videos are AI-generated.
  • Tink's look was made with AI image tools; the pictures in the videos are drawn in code, with no stock footage.
